All of Who You Are
Hello, I am Tracy (she/her/hers), and it is a delight to bring HYWT to people who seek therapy. My values of acceptance, empathy, and love for our human diversity are cornerstones of my life and work. I welcome and accept you just as you are in a warm safe space compassionately allied with our BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. We will walk together to help help solve your challenges and fill your life with passion, joy, and love!
A Bit of My Story
I have lived a full life and my two adult children with their families are my proudest accomplishment! I enjoy my active days in paradise with Florida’s sunshine, sand, and salty seas. I am a life-long learner and love to photograph the beauty of nature and the people around me everywhere I go.
My inner ‘therapist’ was shaped early on as one of the youngest in a large, loud, and loving extended family. This is where I learned to listen, observe, and hold values of respect and dignity for all people. Despite its hardships, I had a wonderful childhood and especially loved hand-churning ice cream with my cousins~ my aunt’s vanilla recipe will always be my fave!

Education, Training, and Credentials
I completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a communications minor at Trinity Lutheran College in Washington State when I was in my 40s and I didn’t stop there! Trinity was a wonderful humanistic foundation for master’s degrees in both organization and leadership development (OSR) from Seattle University and clinical psychology from Saybrook University. I am near completion of Saybrook’s doctoral degree in psychology with a clinical psychology specialization.
I have specialized training in emotionally focused couple therapy (EFT), ethical Telehealth practices, and a certificate in clinical hypnosis. My clinical work is supervised by William McCormack, LMHC (MH14389) at Renewed Mental Health in Clearwater, Florida. I anticipate Florida State licensure in the near future.
More Than Just a Therapist
In addition to a therapist with expertise and heart, you get a fellow human being with wisdom from life. My evolution has moved me into my whole self with an intuitive sense of presence through my days. This helps me regulate anxiety, relieve depression, and decrease post-traumatic stress. I learned to love myself through the grief and pain of divorce, physical injuries, chronic disease, and other hardships that nearly set me back to scratch. I continue to heal and thrive as I reparent my inner-child (this is a real thing!). I am on a bright and passionate path of post-traumatic growth and am proud to honor my way forward.
