Exploring your wholeness
My humanistic-existential and multicultural approach embraces your wholeness. This foundation allows you to explore all of who you are and your life stories. This combined with the knowledge and wisdom of the place you live and the cultures they provide play a vital in the therapy process. Pulling it all together are your dreams that draw you forward on your path.
Therapeutic tools I use include mindfulness and embodiment work integrated with somatic, emotionally focused, cognitive-behavioral, and narrative therapies, among others. This diversity allows us to meet your immediate needs and also stay on course toward your goals. Lastly, the Honor Your Way 5-H Guide to Emotional-Relational Health will help orient your course.
The 5-Hs
The 5-Hs are helpful ways to discover what is going on in your heart, mind, body, and spirit. This type of connection with the fullness of your experiences will reveal unaware thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions, as well as patterns of your behavior. With these insights, I will help you unlearn what you want to leave behind and take up new ways of moving about your life. As you heal and grow, you will honor your own empowered path that leads you forward.
