About Me
Life Beyond the Therapy Room
I am the proud mom of two adult children who are now building lives and families of their own. Although we live many miles apart, they remain an important part of my life. When I’m not working, I enjoy an active life in Florida’s sunshine and along its beautiful coastlines.
Like everyone, I continue to learn, grow, and navigate the opportunities and challenges that come with being human. It is a privilege to walk alongside others as they explore their own paths toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
Finding joy in life’s simple moments…
Years of learning and growth ultimately led me to design this cozy space dedicated to healing, reflection, and meaningful change.
My Path to Becoming a Therapist
As a self-described late bloomer, my path into this work was not a traditional one. After returning to college in mid-life, I pursued studies in organizational leadership and psychology, earning graduate degrees from Seattle University and Saybrook University, culminating in a PhD in Psychology with a Clinical Psychology Specialization.
My passion for understanding the human experience, combined with years of clinical practice, has shaped an approach grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for the complexity of being human. I welcome people from all backgrounds and strive to create a therapeutic space where each person’s story can be honored and explored within the context of their own life.

Clinical Training
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida (MH24371) and Washington State, where I am also credentialed as a Registered Hypnotherapist (MHC.LH.61646357).
My clinical training includes Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) Intensive for couples, ethical Telehealth practices, clinical hypnosis, crisis and disaster response, and Acute Stress Syndrome Stabilization Therapy (ASSYST), an EMDR-based trauma stabilization protocol.
Ongoing learning and professional development remain an important part of my commitment to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care grounded in compassion.
